What’s the Alternative to Flash?
Flash has been a leader in interaction and animation for quite a long time already. It seems that it wouldn’t be very comfortable in this place any more, since it has recently got a new strong competitor. I mean Swish of course. I do not claim that it has overcome Flash completely, but now I tend to choose Swish more often where I used to apply Flash.
Being a web designer I would spend a lot time developing all-Flash sites as well as Flash-animated sites. Now, when a website is a necessity, not a luxury anymore, especially for businesses, I get a lot of orders and need to manage more within the same spell. I had thought that I wouldn’t manage, but actually now I do. Flashmint.com, where I bought my first Swish template, provides good Swish templates with tutorials (it’s pity but only for the newest ones).
